December is full of milestones at Fresh Perspective Home Care, and we’re excited to celebrate so many wonderful team members. This month, we recognize Gene Durffee as our High Five of the Month and Lisa Carter as our Rookie of the Month for the dedication and heart they bring to their roles. We also want to wish a very happy birthday to Wendy Wells-Frisbie, Trena Allen, Kay Gotham, and Bonnie McCord, LPN. In addition, congratulations to Kylie Alcala, Frankie Edwards, Amanda Mikle, and Janet Hay on their one-year anniversaries with Fresh Perspective, and a special congratulations to Emma Burdett on celebrating two years. Each of you plays an important role in caring for our clients and strengthening our team, and we are truly grateful for everything you do. Congratulations to everyone being celebrated this December! ❄️💙

Lisa has quickly become one of our most reliable caregivers, and it’s easy to see why she’s made such a strong impression. Her clients absolutely adore her—one even says she feels just like family. Lisa brings kindness, grace, and positivity into everything she does, whether she’s caring for her client or calling into the office to discuss her schedule. She always takes the time to check in, express gratitude, and spread a little sunshine wherever she goes. We’re so grateful to have her on our team—keep shining, Lisa!

Shelly Nutter

Area Vice President at Fresh Perspective Home Care

Shelly Nutter has been a driving force in the Fresh Perspective Home Care team since 2008 and is currently the Area Vice President. She began caring for others at a young age and has never looked back. Her strong faith and family values drives her passion for helping others. Shelly says she never found a career that fulfilled a "bigger purpose" her previous jobs until begin her home care career with Fresh Perspective Home Care. "Here I found growth, purpose, and a career to match my personal ambition of making a difference in the lives of others." Shelly is native to the Kalamazoo/Portage, Mi area and has been married for over 25 years Together they have three children that she believes have benefited from watching Mom work hard to help others, advocate for others, and give to others. She also holds a bachelors degree in Accounting and an associates degree in Business Management.
